This is the firts BG in mu new game. What do you think?

C&C is welcome, but I need help on deciding colors (also, I will then smudge the edges of the foreground. :))
It is not yet finished, I am going to make the seats "fluffier",and add a moving background to the windows.
--Jimi
Umm...where is the background?
Sorry, screwed up! The thing at the bottom is a reference to where the Lucas Arts thing will go.
Looks GREAT! ;D
Thanks, But what colours shall I use???
Hmm.... I was not thinking of colours..... maybe I should go and get some sleep... but the wall could be somthing like light gray, and the seats dark blue or somthing (what is it with me, gray and blue? ::))
Dark seat supports and doorframes... :P
So this is inside bus?
I think a view from the back or the front of the bus would work, so the chairs would be in the sides and the hallway in the middle, you get the point I am telling here? ;)
For some reason this picture reminds me of the airplane in Zak McKracken. :)
*wonders if you can pick up the seat cushions in this bus*
Looks good! Depending on the style of your game, I'm interested to see how you will colour this one.
BITMAAAAAAAAPS!!!!! >:(
Nice.
Mad: I tried that to start with, but it just didn't work, because you really need to be able to see those chairs properly, and there will be a person on 2 of those chairs.
Eggie: Sorry, but I made it with this to save hassle later, because AGS can't take GIFs. :'(
Here's a coloured but UNFINISHED[/u] version:

(You'll be happy to know it's a gif. ;D
EDIT
The lines in the sky, etc are there because this BG will be animated so the bus looks like its moving, and every now and again, the screen will jump. I will have an animating one done soon.
I think you should use animated BGs to make the expression of moving.
I am going to. But this is what I've done so far:
Now just to make it look like it's moving!
Looking good!
However I would suggest unblurring the black outlines in the front. Making them walk-behind areas in AGS is a bit of a hassle, if it's so blurry.
And besides, I think it looked better when it wasn't blurred. :)
Okely Dokely.
you could try something similar
I fixed this quickly and sorry for the crappy gif

note (the gui shouldn't bob up and down, but you probably figured that)
OK, But I can only have five frames. This is it:

I may just make the land move, but I will do this later. And I will make a little bump by using the "shakescreen" funtion in AGS.
;D
shouldnt be completely black, me thinks
Well, I wanted to blend smudge the black a little to make it look close, but it would be hard to do walkbehinds then. :'(
Yes, add the bump with shakescreen.
The wall still seems a little flat. I would add a shaded border around the windows and the door frame to start...
this is what i meant..

Well, I don't know. I don't mind doing that, but I'd have to make him less realistic to fit in with the game!
What does everyone elso think. Black, or...living?
Black.
--Erwin
Well, I guess its black then. OK, another question:
blured on the edges, or hard edges?
nevermind then :x
I just want opinions. I will decide which looks best later.
Those animated ones are awesome! I love the curvy hills in N3Ts. Jimi, the track moving in yours should be much faster than the land behind it, cos closer things appear to move much faster than farther ones.
The black does look odd, but I guess when you have a player character walking around it would be better to have a non distracting foreground. You could perhaps try moving the head in one of the 5 frames, so it bobs from time to time.
