Title: Cant seem to get the colors right ...
Post by: Arboris on Sat 06/03/2004 14:45:57
It seems I cant get the colors right with the main char. I`ve tried alot of different combo's but still cant find the right ones. This pic is the best one I've created sofar (atleast in my opinion).
(It's for a low res 320x240 256 color game)

Some other incentives from the game:

I like the loanshark best, probably because I got the whole joke.
In case someone else didn't, here's what's up:

Spoiler
A loan shark is someone who lends money and is not necessarily an aquatic creature. This loan shark really *IS* a shark, so it's kind of a pun.

I love all of these guys! I though that maybe his colors were *too* bright. So heres one I wipped up with some duller colors. The contrast could be a little higher too.

Hm, I really like that one =] altho the color contrast are a bit too high indeed. Especially at the pants. But the color combo looks really great. Thanks.

I just thought the face should have a higher contrast because even at 4x on yours, its hard to even see the color change. Enjoy animating those huge feet. ;)

Good work, both Aboris and Evil.
I'd follow Evil's advice and tone down the colours a bit.

i like the background, but you could at least give some kind of info what you want crit on?

kinda pointless just posting a pic with no info.

*edit* i didnt realise this wasnt even your thread, what's the point X.L.? trying to annoy people again?

The JPEG compression makes this image awfully blurred  :-[
