I am using MrColassals walk - cycle but i cant figure out the perspective of the hat and sword for the picture facing right. I used flash for this pic and paint-overs are welcome.

For the right pic you could probobly just give him the hat looking bassicly just like in the front  or back view and it would be ok. And peoples arms tend to go atleast down to their waist.

It's huuuuuge. Have you considered making it smaller? I think that with a good painting and animationg program whould be easier to painting and animate.

Not for a 640, 480 game  Oh yeah and flash is good for animating and painting depending on what style you go for.

hehehe... Yeah, but I know that many of the BIG FISHES of AGS doubt before starting a high definition game. I myself wouldn't dare (well, I am horrible for finishing games, actually...  )

Eh, I'll be having a 640 480 game out soon, for me 640 480 is easier than limiting myself with a lower res cause it let's me draw more naturally and larger. Maybe it's just that I draw my graphics like I would a pen on paper, so it doesn't matter what size I make them. But anyway back on topic don't have his arms stick out either, let them rest at his side other wise it's just awkward looking.

I advice to use horizontal lines for the different views of the character, it's so much easier that way. What looks really bad is the shoulder in the side view.

Also, he doesn't really look like a teenage musketeer to me.

Just a couple aethetic notes: He is looking rather older than teenaged (partially the moustache but also shapes in general).  The sword at his waist seems to be a practice saber (With the small sphere at the end preventing penetration of the skin).  There should be very little of one's collar area visible from straight-on at the side, if you rounded off the shoulder bit and gave him a more protruding neck, it'd make him look a touch less hunchbacked (and also match the other views better).

He looks like a freak. Especially his hands from the front and back view. One shoulder is higher than the other and try putting the hands more close to his body, he will look much better then. I hope.

How did you manage to spell "Autism" correctly while butchering nearly every other word in your post? Your statements add nothing useful, merely pointing out discrepancies when others have already done a more eloquent, constructive, and thorough job.  The others are at least listing ways to improve the picture and work on his skills.  The only point you've made that was new was concerning the black borders.  I can only assume that you dislike the borders since, otherwise, the sentence (?) was just stating the obvious.  In either case, I'd put that down to personal opinion and think it would be better if he worked on things that seem to have been universally noted. 

<Sigh> Why bother?  Just go away, you're obviously not capable of interacting with others.

For the picture, I think all you should now do is what Guybrush Peepwood suggested. After that you think about more details.
