Is that a face in the top/left rock area ...

A rock-face?

It looks like a face and the path looks like his arm stretching out.

The path looks like it doesn't continue across the rock outcropping.Ã,  The outcropping (arm) seems to get tubular as it extends.

I think the texturing is good.

As evil said the light seems wrong, unless you're going for 'other worldly' ... in that case it's great!

The clouds look too solid to me, but again, if you're going for other worldly, who's to say?

just my $0.02

Actually the horizontal lines are more correct. A rock formation like that results from constant water hitting apon it. So most likely in this case, the ocean, which hits horizontal. However, places like under the bridge and under where it attaches to the wall would look much better vertical.

Also watch how you are working your colors. I like the reflective blue, but it isn't reflecting on the under side of the bridge. And your light source, I would imagine, isnt blue either, but a yellow. So along the brightest highlights from the sun, I would add some yellow-green.

Yes i was wondering before if i should make yellow lightnings on the sides (as the sun is yellow :D) but if you look some documentary, ice is not glowing yellow, most of the time is white.

Ok I will try to explain :D, so, white color is represented with all other colors (if you mix red green and blue, you will get white), and if object is white colored as snow, this means that it reflects all colors (or 90 % of them, because it is not tottaly white) so if it reflects all colors, you see it as a white, or a little white-yellow, it deppends. except if there is a sunset , all colors look like mixture of red (from sun) and blue (something got to do with an human eye structure...),..

Sorry for bumping this, but could you please post this tutorial again (with pictures)? I remember looking at it a long time ago thinking I would check back at it later, and now the pictures are not loading. Perhaps you could put it in the Tutorials thread? I would love to copy this drawing style!
