Title: Cave
Post by: MarVelo on Thu 19/01/2006 01:29:32
This is for the BG blitz and I was wondering what I could do to improve. I cant really seem to do much with the stuff on the other side of the oval entrance.

It looks good, but i can't make things up from it, for example:

is that hole the outside of the cave?

And what is the round thing above the hole?

I do like the frontal pikes in black, gives it a cavish atmosphereÃ,  Ã, ;D

and.. a caves enterance should never be (or would be a really big coincidence) exactly the same at both sides.. u should not make it oval.. but a bit rocky..

Of course.. well then just change the opening in something less isometric (thats how you call it right.. with 2 of the same identical sides) and show usÃ,  ;D ;D

And for the outside.. maybe some green jungle things.. since its in a jungle i guess..
Like some leafs hanging before the enterance.. try something like that if you like..

Isometric is the view used in UFO: Enemy Unknown (X-COM), Fallout and Little Big Adventure.  I think you mean symmetrical, DonB.

Assuming he does mean symmetrical, I'd have to agree. The rails for the ball to run down look a bit dull.  Also, the lighting could do with some work, everything looks a bit flat at the moment.
