Title: Caveman-hooker?

Ok, I have finnaly came up with a design for a woman character that worked, to a certian degree, for me. I think it looks great for a not too serious game..but I need to make the character look more....suductive, but still hideous.

Of course I am talking about the picture on the right, but about the one on the left, I wanted to know if the drawing styles formed smoothly together or not.

Thanks in advance.

I love the cartoony style of your characters! I think they work really well together.

The reason your hooker looks like a man is because her shoulders are broader than her hips. Women usually have wider hips than shoulders (one of life's little tricks: you can often spot a drag queen by her lack of hips...)

Anyway, I tried my hand at it, and here's what I came up with:

(original on the left, my example on the right)

I gave her a much more defined waist, narrowed her shoulders, shortened the torso, and gave her breasts an outline. I also shortened her neck and darkened the red you used for shadows to bring out the shading more. I tried to slim her arms up a little too.

What are those white things above her breasts? Do I want to know? ::)

Not sure if that was the effect you were going for, but I think she does look a little less like a drag queen...

It is hard to notice that she is leaning to the wall. She looks like she is pointing at something. If she is by the wall, I think you should cross her legs, bring her hand closer and rotate her a little.

These characters look great and they remind me of Quentin Blake's work. I'd love to see more in this style.

If they are supposed to be cavemen though, I think you should make the colours of the clothes variants on khaki and tan - certainly not blue. The ony other point I'd make is that the tubby sprite seems to be leaning backwards - if there's a wall behind him that's fine, otherwise try tweaking it so that the head is above the feet.

Thanks Escargot, I guess she does looks a bit more manly than needed.Ã,  :P
The white things above her breast are stuffingÃ,  :), she is supposed to look somewhat like a man in a dress.Ã,  I Like what you did with the boobular area and the waist, looks alot better, but the contrast on the original works fine when in-game.

Boriz: I see the pointing now, thanks, I will fix that as soon as I get my chores done.Ã,  ;D

Ali: They aren't really ment to be cavemen...I just said that because how the lady looks, but thanks for pointing out the head-n-feet part, I just can't seem to get it right, it always looks too unbalanced.

Ok I edited a bit.
-shortened neck
-narrowed her down a bit
-lowered the arm

I was hoping this new arm look would make it look more like she was showing off her goods. It seems to work, but that is becuase I drew it....I need other opinions.
