I think the forward walkcycle looks better than the side one. I think you should make his feet go more fluently

Noticed that in the front walkcycle the hair-do bounce vertically, while in the side one it's doing it horizontally. Minor detail yes... And... perhaps add a few frames, otherwise I see nothing utterly horrifying

Tx ProgZmax. U RULE! :)
I just made some very very minor modifications:

The front view I've made the pockets move a bit fixed the face (couse it was too wide) and gave more bounce to the hair. :)

The side view made the belly jump up and down and fixed the leg movement after starring a few walking sprites very closely. :)

10x again. :)

I think your darkest shade on the pants needs to have a lower value. In the side view it would help show which leg is closest to the screen.

I posted a few examples of side view walkcycles here: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=22707.0

They all look great, the only problem I see is that in the talk view his hair seems to move more than in the walking view yet his head doesnt move. Also for the picking the nose animation, maybe you could make him flick or shake the snot of his finger to send it flying.

I bet you $50.00 that's an idle animation. Any takers?

I think it's because the hair is alot longer, so it's movements would be more exaggurated than the heads.

For example if you pick up a pencil and hold it by one of the farthest ends, and gently shake your hand a bit, the other end of the pencil will move alot more drastically than your hand is.  I think that's what he's trying to achieve with the hair.

Looking great Krysis.  Although there seems to be the same problem with the original front walk cycle as with the back walk cycle, his arms need another frame in there.  The side (and fixed front cycle) have 3 and 4 positions each (from what I can see), while the back cycle only has 2 positions for each arm.  I'd add a couple more positions/frames there, to make it more similar to the front walk cycle.

I love this character. Especialy the animation with the snot.
But in the front walkcycle the hair dosn't bounce in rithm of the steps. It bounces in the midle of his step wich i think is strange.
