Here is my latest version of head Banner for my new web site. I am mainly unsatisfied with that newyearinserbia.com text in top right corner. Any suggestions would be of great help.

Thanks in advance.

cheers

Well, the question is why you'd scrunch the title of the page in that out-of-the-way corner up there.  Shouldn't it be the main feature of the banner?

Also, that black angled bar right above the gray links is bothering me.  It's way too eye-catching amonngst the low-contrast stuff comprising the rest of the image, especially being set within that white outline.

I played around a bit. I the page is nice, but I expected something more like this. Made the title bigger and more legable and changed some colors. Not great, but you get the idea.

Big thanks Evil!

I done a few changes, and made text just like you did  :P , well I don't have time to spare on changing it to something else, cause deadline is so close.

Can anibody help me with BG. I can figure out what color or image should I use. Please...

Try it now link is the same as it was.

Thanks guys and girls :)

The background of the image is fine. It's sort of boring, but with all of the animations and pictures and stuff, I think it's fine. I didn't think you'd literally use my edit. Heh :)

The countdown and the text "Dobrodošli na NewYearInSerbia.com mesto na kojem izlaze klubovi" isn't centered in the frame. On my super wide desktop, at full view, the text is over the left side bar.

Also, it takes forever to load everything. Most of the pictures aren't loading (that is assuming that they aren't just white images).

Well I don't know how to center it along with the whole page. I centred everything with <div align=center> tag. And text is inside of a layer. I am not a perfect html user so help, anybody...

Thanks Evil

ps. I am lazy am I (well your text was fine)

Well, you could make the body of the page in one big frame and center that, then center the text to the frame. I know that works, just depends on how you have your code setup.

I know that I am probably not supposed to crit the criticism but Evil that really just looks like White text with a massive stroke and drop shadow added. I think the original text was a lot more unique and interesting rather than looking like a quick photoshop redo.

The main problem I see with this, (and I am no web designer so don't quote me) is that the huge BLOCK OF RED really clashes with the rest of the site. Primarily the glaringly white background. I think you should either soften the choice of colors you use in the banner which is probably not what you want to do, or go with a background color that would compliment the banner better.
There's this thing... Jazz.

The problem is a functionality issue. It's not legible, and it's way to small to read. I made it bigger and added a stroke just to show what the difference would be if it was larger and if the colors were flipped. Even if the text was larger, it's still hard to read and it's not spaced.

By background, do you mean the page background? I think white is fine, but you could do something like this.
