Here's a beginning color version of a previously outlined picture I have done.  I know there is no shading and I can do better on colors, but I thought I'd post it since I'm on my way. And I'll fix the sidewalk over on the left of the car plus the line above that follows the wrong perspective line.

God, I hate JPG conversion.

- No, I mean it's really STUCK. Like adventure-game stuck.

Heh, know the feeling. The solution is to use gif when exporting pics with large areas of solid colors.

Anyway the composition is good...... but it really needs some shading/something. And yes, I would change the windows/sky color

keep at it!

Looking good so far. I think that a neon sign "light treatment" would fit in nicely.

keep it up. :)

evilspacefart

yes. looking good, scummy!
may i suggest making the car color either black or some bright pastel red, yellow or green? the scene feels like a Dick Tracy era/scheme to me.

I'm with evil space fart, the car might look better if it were black, or a pastel color.

Another solution to your .jpg problem, you could also save it as a .png, I have to do that, because .gif's always messed up my color scheme on my backgrounds and sprites, and actually now, my computer doesn't even recognize .gif's anymore, I don't know why...
Watch, I just killed this topic...

I agree with evilspacefart (lol thats the coolest name) make the car black, when the model T was released Henry Ford said "you can have whatever color you want, as long as you want black", for a long time that was the only color available. also the car looks too new for the 20's, it looks like its from the 40's to me, it should be a lot more squared, and have fenders that stick out from the engine compartment and over the wheels, notice the differences from the 32 to the 40 ford coupe, the 40 is a lot smoother, much like yours. but yeah I think even if you draw in one of the early 30s cars it will be convincing enough.
Are clones people two?

Just a little detail: The door on the house with the 3 windows
ends just where the windows begins. This means that the
windows must stand on the second story floor itself.
It's hard to explain, but I hope that you see what I mean...
