Title: c&c on storyboard
Post by: Secret Fawful on Fri 13/08/2004 02:02:25
I need a c&c on this in-game joke from part 3 of my game.
http://www.2dadventure.com/ags/storyboard3.1.jpg
On a scale of one to ten how good is it?
I will upload one more for critiquing when it is done.
The background is not supposed to be colored as this is just a storyboard.
This will not be a sam and max fan-game
But sam and max will be main characters in this part of the game to where ever the parts end.
The duo detectives will help my main characters against el chupacabra in a mexican town.
How is the artwork?

Something that really bugs me about the art are the eyes of Sam and Max. They've got this triangular shape, giving them an angry look... but  the game (and what little I read of the comics had their eyes usually depicted as round. This, IMO, gives them a more matter-o-fact kind of view when it comes to their own violence, which added to the humour.

1st thing the artwork is fine. Even though storyboards don't need excellent art, they just need to convey what is going on in a scene.

And for whether or not you should use this??? It's your game, it doesn't really matter what anyone thinks but yourself.

Aim only to please yourself, and others should enjoy it too.
