What do you think? ::)

comically fantastic
Nicely original. I'm not sure if I'd want to control him though, but that's just me.
wonderful!! i have some things i'm not sure about, i dont know if you did them intentionally:
1: the eye, in the his right view, has the pupil(sp?=the black dot) looking forward, and maybe it shoud look to our right.
2: the hands are drawn in a different way in each view:
in the 1st view, it looks like the thumb is looking outwards the body, so the fist is perpendicular to the body;
in the 2nd view, the fists also looks perpendicular to the body;
in the third, the fist looks parallel to the body
in the 4th i dont know, i cant see any fingers ;D
3: maybe you could make some shar angles in the head shape rounder, but as they are square in all views, i suppose you want them this way.
I like it, its funny.
I like it.. in a demented sort of way, I suppose. However a couple comments.. The bulging eye would look a bit more bulging and not merely oversized if you extended your shading a bit.. maybe if you used the same slightly darker shade from the head to make some shadow where that humongous eye blocks the light. Also, the arms/legs currently look very double-pixelly, I could add/subtract some pixels to give them a more consistent look (i.e. more "tube-like" the same width all the way through).
Excellent work though... if you could get a decent-looking walking animation outta this, I'm sure it would be quite entertaining. ;D

I made some changes.
The hands are slightly fixed. I guess it will do.
I shaded the big eye, inside and outside.
I fixed the stupid pupil thing...don't know how I missed him oogling out at me like that.
Round head and tube like arms I don't know if I can do without completely redoing him. I'm not that good at this sort of thing.
Now it's time to work on that walk animation...
EDIT: Attempt at walk animation:

Thanks!

I love the walk animation! it's seems a liitle off, like hes leaning to far forward, but that fits the character well...
almost good, but the leg movement has a glitch in it when the foot bends, but the hands and the rest rock!
What were you on? and where can I get some?
This guy is my new hero.
Nice walking anim!
But I think occasional bopping up and down one pixel in his head, and some small enlarging/shrinking in his eyes while he's walking would be even kooler.
very good char. and animation! :D
Heehee, very funny! I would have preferred him walking like a man insted of a robot though.

The right and left animations. I added some hair and head bobbing so hopefully it will be a little less robot like. :(
EDIT: Front and back:

looks great! very good character, actually, it looks a bit like a numbskull (out of the beano)
( ( ( <( -_-)> ) ) )
it looks like both his hands are turned the same way in the side walking view, and is that little bit supposed to be his thumb?
Fantastic! Release the game already!
I really like the back and forward animation.
see what i would have done for left right animation
only to make it look like the forward backward animation
because the the animation is cooler in those case
(http://user.deluxnetwork.com/~petaglair/jackrun3pirate.gif)
it's dirty i did it in 3 minutes but i think it's closer to the forward back loops.
(the left elbow is a bit stretched, i guess)
just a remark
the number of frame is a fake issue in animation
you can have an anim that looks smoother with less frames only because you handled them better
for example i think your anim woulb be more efficient or even funnier with 2 frames less and a better organisation
but it's not a real critic
Very nice walk animations.
Nice work! It sure seems from his walk like he has personality.
