Map screen music

This song will loop on the map screen and possibly other locations. Is it fine or would it get grating after a while?

It loops about every 2 seconds!  It's going to serious grate unless you're only going to be spending really tiny amounts of time on the map screen (but even then, I'd prefer silence...)  With some variation I guess it would be okay.  (It is MEANT to loop every 2 seconds, right?)

Yeah it's a very short loop. You'll only spend a matter of seconds on the map screen at a time. So make it a wee bit longer so as to avoid player insanity?

Yeah, I think 2 seconds is just TOO short even though the loop itself is good - you just can't have 2 seconds repeated more than a few times before it drives you mental.   You might be able to get away with 5 seconds I guess, if you're really going to be spending such a short time on the map screen.

Yeah I think they'd both work fine if the player is going to only hear them in short snatches - lovely chiptune vibe to the second one!  Are you going to alternate between the two - each time the player goes back to the menu, it swaps between them?
