Title: Character - two styles
Post by: fidodido on Sat 11/10/2003 05:17:18
Here's a character I recently created:

What do you think about it? Which of the two versions is better?

Thanks.

A very nice char, fidodido! You are making much progress since songo. The second version is better imo.

The first one, IMO, the outlines make the character have more consistency...

I like the first one. You can see his facial features a lot easier.

heh, i would like a mix, coloured outlines, but darker than the ones in the second pic. if you just dont want to try, then i would say i like the first one.

The first. The cartoon style fits with the black outlines (as it always has and always will).

Thanks guys!

I think I will go with the black outlines style.

I prefer the first one too. His face can see it better.

First one, fo sheezy.   And I know you didn't ask for this, but maybe you could try making him a bit more relaxed?  He looks really uptight at the moment.  Overall though, looking good, and the outlines definitely suit the style.

He's under a lot of stress lately due to his wife's recent death, and the wierd dreams he's been having since.
