Hey guys, I haven't posted for a long time.Ã, After some deep inner-searching, I find I have neither the time nor the commitment to make a game with AGS, but I thoroughly enjoy making bgs.Ã, So in order to stay part of the community, I am going to make BGs for you to take and do with what you wish, and who knows, maybe I'll see one of my own creations in a game someday.Ã, Anywho, here's my first one.Ã, It's very simple, so tell me if you like it.

I like the room a lot .
Nice little room. :D
But one obvious problem that stands out is, again perspective:

Personally I won't care much about perpective as long as a picture looks comfortable, but most of the problem of this room lies in the door, in my opinion, it's not really that important to fix the others but the door definitely needs some tweaking.
I fixed the door (somewhat) and added a cool lava lamp!Ã, ;D

Nice background!
I love the shading of the door in the second version.
However, I think something is wrong with the perspective of the window now.
Shouldn't it look something like this:

btw ... what paint program did you use to draw the bg? Nice colour-scheme.
gilbot, you and your unstoppable luminous green lines!
I used good ol' MSPaint, but but I'm learning how to use Adobe Photoshop, so that's where the window gradient came from, and the blurry stars.
btw:probably right about the window
I did a paintover, what i maynly fixed whas the shading:
the first is the original + some lightning
the second is with some shadow
take a look

P.S.
ignore the lame shadow on the second picture, was making this in a hurry :D
Very nice BG for a first try.
IMO, the sky's smooth gradient clashes with the rest of the BG, I suggest making it by hand.
Also, instead of using black color for the outlines, you could use the darker shade of the object's color.
Keep practicing.
I redid the moon light by hand, but kept the black outlines.Ã, I like the cartoony feel of the outlines, so I kept them.Ã, Thanks for the input, though. :)Ã, I also added a little light effect, see if you like it.

You should add some details in it, i can do it for ou if you send me a copy of it WOITHOUT the shadow
what detail i am talking about is manly that your room is so empty, you should add some things in it, etc.
a shelf containing books, closet and so on
send me a pm if you want me to do it :D i like doing small things ;)
Ok, I've made some changes.
-Fixed Perspective on Bed
-Added Wall Border
-Started on Bookshelf (didn't finish for reasons of lazy)
-added some assorted shading, like bed shadow, and cord shadow.
I've included one with and one without shading, so if anyone wants a go at it, they can.
I'm going to begin on antoher now, and I would love some suggestions or requests on the next setting.
