This is really, really weird.  I could almost see it as music for a Willy Wonka trailer that has voice clips from the film.

Very bizarre. I love how it's got that slight minor note in there, that makes it not quite major. It's lovely. Very cinematic. Bass was a little too booming through my speakers, though.

Where did you get those child sounds at the end? I swear I've used that before on some of my own work.

Splendid! I loved the composing and the other actings ("I love çoklet as Christmas", hahaha!). I sound even better than the real I sound.

This could be the opening to a movie. I love it.

Cool, CoreBass Pear! I know that sample library. ;)

I'm glad you found a use for it, Nikolas!

Here's the link to the sample library webpage: CoreBass Pear upright bass sample library for Kontakt (http://www.orangetreesamples.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=6)

Quit Spamming the boards, Greg!  :P

Actually I've used it plenty of times. In fact I went and got Kontakt 3, just to use your basses (honestly. Just got it on crossgrade price). And I've used it to other tracks, including pieces for a Pampers DVD informatial (especially Jaco, is sliding again and again and again. I think I'll get half of them sent back "Keep the bass but remove everything else and start over" from my clients!  :=

Glad you like it guys!

Evil: I made a different version after all, reducing the bass a little and adding a tad of reverb to the other instrumnets.

And, yes, it is bizzare, I can't deny that! ;D

Hahah, I'm glad you like my basses and are putting them to good use! Man, you wouldn't believe how much work went into the Jaco fretless bass.

Sorry for the tangent. About your song, Chocolate--I love the way you're able to create a beautiful melody all while touching on some chromaticism and dissonance. That Cmajor, Dmajor7 move is really haunting. I feel like it could use some other instrument towards the end to make the arrangement evolve a little bit. Maybe a flute playing counterpart with the trumpet? Or maybe a cello?

I can imagine all the work!  :o I mean it's almost 3 GB large! Heck that's a lot!

On the track.

I run into a simple problem: I couldn't find any quality instrument in my arsenal. EW was out of the question, so was Garritan, etc... I think that these 3 are the top notch instruments that I have. Until a solo instrument in the ledge of the trumpet comes in (btw I almost preordered LASS. It should be out fairly shortly), I just couldn't bring myself to use anything else in the track. Pianoteq could be GASP but that's about all the changes I could make. :)
