Which art direction should I choose?

Hello everybody!

Recently I've decided to develop some graphical style of my own which could be suitable for making games. Having tried different approaches and directions, I've come up with the following backgrounds (two of them were posted in Background Blitzs)

My first and foremost question is what kind of images should I stick to (they are bit different in approach) or should I try something very different? And, of course, I'll be very grateful if any of the professionals around here could point out main flaws and hints how to get rid of them :-) .

Looking forward to your (constructive) criticisms.

I like the third style, not a lot of floor space in the first, pixel work is a bit messy in the second due to the large resolution.

There isn't much to say about the first one, it looks cool but doesn't show much. I like both BB entries. Yes, the pixel art looks a bit messy but it's quite nice nevertheless.

I'd say do some more backgrounds with the different styles and look what's most fun to do for you. Personally, I'd like to see games in both the second and third style, but if you want to stick to one, then take the one that is most fun and preferably less time consuming. Like chicky I'd prefer the third one if I had to choose.
