Title: Concept artwork.

Well, I'm not ready to start my next game yet. But, I do know that I want to make it in 640x480 or even 800x600. (Haven't tested the slow-downs yet.) So ... I've drawn a concept character for this new resolution. Tell me what yah think.

I drew him in all vectors, so I could resize and such for any close-ups.

Now all I need to do is muster up the courage and try a background at this new resoultion. :)

It looks great, Ioni. If anything, maybe the foot on the left needs to be a tad wider? It looks awesome anyway.

What to you have in store for a second game?

wow, that looks great - for some reason he reminds me of the bouncer in larry 1, but i honestly don't know why

Ionas thats great, and its great to hear the next game will be hi-res, much more marketing potential there!

I think the waist should be at least 1.5 times or twice this size to fit in with the face. The legs could be a bit smaller if the waist size was increased. I'm just sticking to the traditional thug prototype though.

IMO his body and legs can be shorter, considering the cartoony style of his face (ie like a ball for his face, another ball for his body), and don't know why, he reminds me of King Pin :D

Wow, awesome! Ignore the people above, it doesn't need to be more cartooney (:P)

Only one thing I would say, and that is that he's fully antialiased; is this gonna give you a purple haze when you import it into the game? Or have you thought about that already?

Do you mean the foot on the right? The left foot looks like it may be too wide already?

I want to do a Cyberpunk Noir style game. I keep jumping back and forth between ideas right now though.

I could use 2ma2's trick he has a tutorial on. I haven't read it in a while, and I've never actually tried it so I don't know if it will work for me. :)
