Everywhere you go you seem to bump into space MIDI music. With this tune I've attempted to make it "change" as much as possible (especially in the first half) as I feel a lot of my tunes get to a point and then just repeat. And repeat. And repeat.

It's supposed to have a kind of entering space feel as well as a "mission completed" feel - and most of all a kind of Day Of The Tentacle feel to it.

So therefore I've tried to plunge DOTT elements into it but adapt them for "space".

Let me know what you think. I'm intruiged.

Thanks!

Great as usual :) I like how melody changes so much and it really reminds me of DOTT, but it also has space feel in it.

Good job!

Nice mid, I like it!
It's long and not repetive.

Mmm.. This is really good. It changes a lot, yet sounds completely seamless. One part just weaves into another.. I think I might try something like this, since most of my music repeats after about 10 seconds :b .

I think it's award winning stuff! "Best music is going to... Mr. Mark Loooovegrove!"

Seriously, it's wonderful. There are some very minor things with the volume that I addressed in my mail reply I just sent you, that's all.  ;)

Thanks for all your comments tho. I appreciate them.

I think it's awesome. The songwriting, arrangement and mix is really impressive. The only possible thing I can think of that seperates this from something you'd expect to hear from, say, a LucasArts game, is the expressiveness of the instruments. I mean note velocities, lengths, etc. Other than that I'd say it's perfect.
