It seems that you are still sticking to your original style, which isn't bad, but people have given you suggestions before and you seem to be disregarding all suggestions.

I think you should work on your perspective a little, and try to make your lines cleaner. The characters seem out of proportion; you have the woman who is huge compared to the guy with the knife, and seeing them in-game would seem very abnormal.

Actually R4l? People said they liked the change on my style and I changed it. And by the way there is scaling you know? If you insist on your idea about my style check the forums a little back.

I like the theme a lot. Looks pretty simular to my style way back when I was a pixel-addict. but to begin with, I would suggest you stay off the filters. On pixels they tend to make the picture flat. And the perspective is off, I would suggest you read a bit about the subject. Other than that, I can't wait to see the result :-)

Can someone be definite about my art skills? Are they good enough to make you wanna play the game or should I hire someone else?

Dave's sprite and animation definitely look different than the other characters. It's a lot better! Are these all going to be for Lone Case 3 or whatever?

I do have to say that this background is much improved from the backgrounds you've posted here in the past.

not with a bang.

Dualnames,

I really like the backgrounds, particularly the top one.  The use of color is pretty arresting throughout all of them, although the perspective is a little wonky towards the top of the middle one (it seems to lose consistency with the bottom 2/3 of the picture).

As for the characters, they look interesting, but I'm not sure how well they fit in with the backgrounds.  You seem to have a pretty strong talent towards using polygons with solid colors (ala "Another World"), and it would be neat to see the characters in the same style.  More specifically, they look a little pixel-y now by comparison to the backgrounds, which will make them look flat when they are combined.

Wow. That's the best comment I've ever had. I loved the game(Another World)and always thought its graphic style was good. Glad I reached that level. I'll take those considerations in mind. But if you could make a remake so that I can understand better , it would sure be nice.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound harsh there, please don't get the wrong idea.

About the character scaling; it's still going to look weird. That character will look very ugly in-game with scaling. I'm not saying that she looks bad, I'm just saying that maybe she's a little too big, but then again, it is your style, and I have no right to judge...

...but this is the Critics Lounge you know.

Also, I didn't say your work was crap, but I gave you the same suggestions as not with a bang:

Here's a suggestion, which I had suggested as well, but it seems that you got offended somehow.

Again, same thing...

It was stupid of me to say that you stuck with your old style, which isn't true at all; these backgrounds are very nice Dualnames, but when I read your post it seemed like you were offended by my suggestions. I am entitled to an opinion, and you are the one asking for them.

You know, you're right. Maybe we've misunderstood each others intentions. I really I'm sorry. About the characters, well I owe you an apologise. They sure look like sticks. They're basically not part of the game but I really liked how they look. Though I have to say that the crazy looking woman needs many remakes below her neck. Gonna try on that this weekend.
