Improve "ink" effect?

Hello all,

This time, I painted (read: messed around) with the EGA palette (SCI0 style). For my game's title, I wanted a writing which has got the effect of ink blotches. I tried making a blue-outlined, black writing and added a few pixels of white and the light-turquise tone.

What do you think, does it look like ink? Is there any way to improve this?

You need to take advantage of the background colour, ditch those outlines and use the black for the letters. Maybe add some small drops of ink around the writing as well.
