hello,
this is a style i was going for but it takes waay to long to produce enough backgrounds like tihs for a atchual game.
So i thought id let it roam free, into the dephs of the community ... toget ... well killed.
rip it to shreads ;)

ooh! I like i like! The only two things I noticed were the perspective on the kitchen tiles seems a bit off, and shouldn't the door stretch (nearly) all the way to the ceiling? All the doors in my house do...
But that really is great style. Too bad you won't make more :(
I LOVE IT! :D
Its a great style, when you get used to it drawing times should lower ..
shame your not gonna use it :(
good point, the celing is a bit high. I would love to use this style, seeing as i have a fully animated character to go with it. The problem is the time it takes to make the background. This one took aproxamatly a week on and off.
And at that rate ill never get a game finishedÃ, :-\
Looks very Fate of Atlantis!
I think it needs some more clutter in the room though - furniture, rugs, and so on.
Also the character looks like he could fit in one of the drawers of that chest. Is it a Carl Farbman?
I don't know if you already discussed this, but why is "Guards!" on hold? :'(
[EDIT - the graphics style was great! Here's hoping you get back to it at some point.]
steve, you're the first person to mention that. Its on hold because it was too much work, and i felt the game was to long for me to finish. Also i really didnt like the graphic style tht i had with it.
err, yeh. Small corpse i guess :P
This background looks superb! If background art is taking too much time, you could also make a short game of like 3 or 4 rooms with this graphics style! It would still be a nice game i.m.o.!!
cheers minimi, i was considering putting it into a one roomer. But the story i had in mind is just to grand for a one room game. Maybe it would work as 4 or 5 rooms. I dunno
cheers anyways
