It lacks perspective. You need a vanishing point. Check a tutorial or something. Nice colors.

The perspective on the ground tiles is still off if you want them to be square sized!

This is a very quick sketch of how they should look (again: only if they should be squares):

As i remember, normal blinking dancefloor tiles usually are square :P Anyway. Just have a normal wall. Look around you, and see how your own walls look.

A nice-but-potentially-nightmarish-to-do idea would be a mirror wall.

An easier suggestion would be a wall of band posters/photos/album covers. At this scale, they don't have to be anything too recognisable (maybe a pair of Rolling Stones Lips, or a little pixelised 'Abbey Road' cover), but it might be more interesting than just a flat coloured wall.

I have been going over the prosepects, and the mirror is impossible for my meager skills. So here it is.

EDITED

For a disco background I think it's too bright, the floor is okay as it's supposed to be glowing, the upper part I'll expect it to be much darker.

It's nice, and the pattern of flashing is good. However I don't think you should use a combo of pink and green together ... they kinda clash.

The perspective on the dJ-place is pretty wrong and the posters don't have the right shape. Most posters have a []-shape.

I know its a really really crappy and fastly-made paintover. You can add a door or something, some big bad speakersn maybe hang an english flag on the wall or put a discoball. A traffic sign would look good too. Just a couple of ideas really.

dont worry, It will still blink in the end, it is just very time consuming to use Image Ready to make the Giff

I think the dance floor should be in a platform, because it doesn't seem to fit there...with that wooden floor  :)

Yes but even if it was on a platform, you wouldn't be able to see any other dimensions. The way it is now, it could very well be on a platform.

I think you're right, maybe a little shadow then?... :-\

Maybe the dancefloor should be a bit lower than the wooden floor. You know what I mean.

I reéally think you should make the dance floor square, like been said in one of the first posts, tbh, I think that's the main thing you should change to make it look like a good dancefloor..

And what about adding a dj table to the left, .. with an outgoing dj behind it of course (playing records, throwing his hands up and scratching)!

I sunk the floor in and added some lights i dont know. What do you think?

EDIT: ok so I really suck at lighting, here it is without.

But where's the disco ball?  :)

The room is made with pixel by pixel so maybe you should try lighting it that style too?

I might add a disco ball later but here is the gif

That dance-floor reminds me of Larry 1...

That's all I can think of. Larry and Fawn dancing it up in the disco.

I only wonder why the floor is thumping up and down o_o Seems like that could be very dangerous for dancing on!
