lo.
this is more of an announcement than anything... but it has to do with my arting around so I guess putting it here's what I'm gonna do :p
I've been drawing this for a while, I've given it the title "The Unlucky Rabbit's Foot." It's a comic about a rabbit (still to be named) who... isn't exactly the luckiest little bunny on the planet. It's not meant to be a funny comic, in case that's what you're expecting.
Anyway, the following is a link to the disclaimer page, it says everything I want to say here so there's no point in continuing

and yes I'm well aware of the typo but I couldn't be arsed fixing it.
I can't wait to see more of these. I hope you clean up the one that you have so that it isn't so dark at the bottom. Is that a scanning problem?
Cheers,
gonzalezj :)
nah... that was me with the dreaded gradient tool trying to be artsy ;D
I can't actually 'fix' it anymore since all the layers are flattened and all... the same way I couldn't be arsed with that typo. if it's any consolation I won't do it again...
Poor Bunny :'(
Nice, very effective!
thanks ^_^
Sasha: didn't you read my disclaimer... people who like bunnies shouldn't read it. ;)
Page 2's up, just go to the disclaimer page in my first post :)
I think you should have the grey shade as in the first page as that made it look much more professional.
Nah, I don't like bunnies when they run around the country side eating away grass that should be eaten by native animals. Actually, I really like the idea. I just pitied the character because he was unlucky and not because he was a bunny.
Neole: I did try and put a gradient on this one, but I'd already used the idea and it was starting to look as if I was some cheesy two bit artist (which I am, I just don't want people to assume that from what I draw)
After I read your post though I gave it another shot and I was actually really pleased with my result

Sorry about the terrible inking on the second panel, but that's how it looks in rl too :/
Sasha: I agree
ha... bet you all thought I was never going to do the next page... didn't you?

is this going to be an evil revenge?
btw in that last, the bunny looks somewhat like a kangaroo
Well, bunnies are very similar to kangaroos in structure because they both hop. Very nice Dmitri, I'm just wondering if that bunny is ever going to turn evil, since he does see a lot of death maybe he will go to get revenge on humankind...
That reminds me of RON2...
I'd love to answer but I don't wanna give stuff away... sorry :'(
n3t, hey, he does too... ahh well, them's the breaks...

Oooh, I cant stand the suspense!
I almost cried....
I fiddled around with colours this time, but converted to grayscale because it's meant to be nighttime

unless the idiot driving the car left his headlights on during the day mind you...
warning, this has swearing, parental discretion required :p
is he becoming an asylum?
Heya everyone, I figured that I might as well just put any art that I'm truly proud of in here, along with the bunny comic (page six is on the way... trust me...) there's no reason for me to start new threads every time I draw a doodle that I like.
I'll still keep what page I'm up to in the topic though...
anyway, this is truly the first piece of work where, when I looked at it, I shook my head and got misty eyed, in disbelief that THAT WAS MY WORK! That was my pen which had doodled that in my maths book... this work was mine.
Suffice to say I love it.
