Dott Background

Hi. I really admire the style of dott so I tried to remake this screen from Mainiac Mansion.

It turned out like this.

please tell me what you think.

Here is an updated version. I tried to make the stars have more variety and added an old gate up on the lawn.

I'm guessing the missing picture is the enhanced EGA version of the Maniac Mansion title screen.

* Make some stars smaller, they're way too huge
* Add some more trees to the left

Here is another. I tried to turn down the saturation. I also added some more trees and resized the stars.

You've created a tangent with the bottom of the moon and that bull-like tree.  Seperate them a bit, so they aren't confusing to the eye.

I really like this, but it looks more like a house than the mansion in the original pic...

I was trying to get it to look more like the mansion on Day of The Tentacle which looks more like a house.

Move the moon further to the right.

I really like this background, I think you've nailed some vital elements of the DOTT style that oh-so-many people get horribly wrong.
