Starfields and Space Quests

Alright well, I did these three things just recently and I thought I'd share.  Comments always welcome if they're constructive and can improve my skill! Haha, just kidding on that skill thing.  Fire away.


First up, the starfield.  I did this one at 640x400 and then scrunched it down for the later backgrounds.  I'm putting the original here because it's larger and looks a bit nicer.


After I did the starfield, I thought, hey this could be cool with some space stuff going on in it.  So I did two backgrounds for a project that is going on elsewhere.




I'm especially displeased with the first Title screen's logo.  I wanted to draw it that way, but it just doesn't look like it turned out.  I spent alot of time on it too....oh well.

I think they're all good, but in my opinion, the blue logo and the "chapter 2" text and stuff are too close to the background colour, making them blended together, they can sure get some enhancement if they're changed to some much brighter colours.

I think the Logo  would look better in red or yellow. It shouldent be too hard to change.

or maybe a nice white outline around all the logos and text.

Yah I think I'll try those suggestions out on them.  I guess when I did it I was trying too hard to use the original colors or something.  I'll make some edits, maybe tonight if I can make myself wake up.....zzzzz.  So sleepy.
