Title: Drawing program
Post by: on Thu 19/02/2004 17:18:56
Hello!  ;D Yeah, you're right, it's me again! I wanted to ask which software do you use for drawing your rooms,
characters and objects? I use paint and I can say that
I'm not that much satisfied. I.e. it's really not an advanced drawing tool and it clearly looks bad.
I mean the rooms look like cartoonish??! So, what
would you reccomend as a drawing tool? I thought of:
Corel, IrfanView (how do you draw in this??!), or is there any other good drawing software??? Which
do you use and which would you reccomend??
Thanks a lot!

if download limits are a worry, look for deluxe paint. it was good enough for monkey island 2 ;)

3 topics up, there's one that's "sticky." It's a listing of drawing programs. (http://www.agsforums.com/yabb/index.php?board=4;action=display;threadid=5644)

The free ones I've tried and thought were much good were i-draw, graphics gale (req. registration for .gif), imageforge (though controls are clumsy), The Gimp (though it's not very intuitive).  I use mainly PhotoImpact 7 but am trying to force myself to get used to PS Elements instead.

One Photoshop to rule them all!

Been using it for, um, nigh on 10 years now, I guess, and I still learn new techniques regularly. It's the best thing ever.
Well, after Illustrator, of course.
