Post by: BlueGlowingSword on Tue 11/07/2006 21:14:26
Hi, I'm looking for good vib- no, a drawing style. I entered these guys for a sprite jam competition:

How could I improve these?

What exactly are they? It looks like a piece of paper with eyes and bart with his face pushed in. Did you have any ideas when you were making these things, or did you just "go with the flow"?

My advice is pretty much this... first know what you want to draw.

I recently found out that buloght and I use the same style of startingof our pics...

As catalogged

HERE (http://www.streetcrew.co.za/forums/index.php?board=19.0)in an attempt to show people that it works and well sometimes you just have to be patience.

Anyway Glowing sword goodluck and keep on practicing the pic on the left is way beter than the first one.

You might just need to sketch a little more first...

Babar: Actually the 2nd one is a person that has so thick fur (or hair) all over his body you will only be able to see his eyes. The 1st person was supposed to be a short-temperamentic brainiac.

Afflict: Thanks for advice, I already have tons of sketches drewn on paper. I think I'll be using them in my future characters.
