HI!

Pardon me for disturbing you. but I have a character for you to Criti and hate. It's for a game I don't think I'll ever finish due to lack of motivation.

I was thinking it'd be a game about a raver. I still don't have a plot, But I'm working on it.

This is ALSO my first attempt at shading a character, so Give me advice on that subject too.

P.S: I'll TRY to make a walking animation for him, but It'll probaböy make me give up on the game :P
That's what always happens... That, and my lack of skills...

EDIT:

I Have made some modifications now.

¤ Darker shading
¤ Removed shit from shirt (For now)
¤ Drank a glass of water
¤ Lighter jewelery
¤ More attention to hair

It's not too bad for a first attempt at shading.

I think the shirt design and the dots on the pant legs are going to make animation a bitch though!  You might want to simplify them a tad if you've never animated before!

crits:
* The shoulder appears too low.  (or the neckline of the shirt is too high).
* The light purple shoe isn't outlined like the rest of the image and stood out to me (just a little)
* Maybe make the shading of the face a little darker and give him some eyebrows (unless that's a raver thing).
* the hair seems a little funky?  Also might be a raver-style thing?

Other than that I think it's a good start!

His right leg looks thinner than his left. His eyebrow would look better if the errant pixel were below the eyebrow line. Showin some hair above and to the right of his ear would help a bit. Right now it looks kinda like a wig is sitting on top of his head.

Overall, a great first attempt.

P.S. What the hell do I know?  :)

Hm. Not bad at all. Appears to become an interesting character.
Only problem I have with him is physics. When standing like that, keeping balance seems to be difficult.

I drew a stickman fast to show, how thing would be a bit better.

See, you could redraw pants a little, and give stronger angle to hand, otherwise than that, everything seems ok, IMO. Well, that's only what I think.

I really hope to see more characters from you, because I like the style alot.
P.S I used old picture, but hand & feet are same on both, so It doesn't matter.

;D Ok, Thanks. I'll get right on it!

My internet was broken last night, else I would've fixed it sooner.

Eyebrows turned upside-down

hey nice job, looks a lot better, only thing i would do is bring the head out a tiny amount towards the front of his body. ;)
