Title: Edward Khill (Trololo guy)
Post by: Fedx on Thu 28/07/2011 04:07:57
Hi guys! So, I was bored today and I thought on doing my favourite internet character :P I think it came out good but it could be better, I'm not really good with body proportions  or shadows. So here it is:

x 5? (http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/787/trololola.png)

I used this photograph as a reference

His name is Eduard.

* Make upper arms shorter by 2-3 pixels
* Reduce shoulder width, hands don't seem to quite fit to the body atm, like he's carrying watermelons (gorilla look)
I see that you tried to follow the photo but took illusion as real characteristic. Illusion comes from the cut of his jacket, the doesn't have empty space under arms actually.
* Make foot slimmer and taller. It looks very cartoony right now- Human feet are a bit longer than torso usually

yep.. body proportions need alot of work...
arms should be shorter between shoulder/elbow..
legs alittle taller...
outlines are too dark, try choosing a lighter shade specially near the zipper.
also the jacket collar has something weird going on.. an outline would help I guess... and oh: did u draw it that short on purpose? lol
pants are weird cut...
i guess the shoes are the best thing in here.

tried to be as honest and -polite- as possible ^^
