Title: Few midis
Post by: Eigen on Tue 09/03/2004 18:44:41
Here's a midi I created for my game. What do you think? May it need some more instruments in some places?   LISTEN HERE (http://www.zone.ee/alpond/music3.mid)

Also, I tried a Mission Impossible theme few weeks ago but i'm not very happy with the solo part. Could use some help with it. LISTEN HERE (http://www.zone.ee/alpond/mission.mid).

not bad but forget to have punk-rock midis for your game... i listen to it too and i make midis (also punk.rock-midis ^^) but they dont fit to adventure games normally...

i don't do musicification but i like the first midi

i also wouldn't listen to mamarulez, i think it would fit just fine in an adventure game

In my opinion it'd be fine as background music, too.

You may want to make it sound more 'human' -- add more velocity changes or something. Just so it doesn't sound too mechanical.

First one is very good. I think it would sound good in a game, especially during a cutscene or fast-paced section of the game.. Does sound a bit too Blink-182ish for my tastes, but that's just me being a snob.

Second one.. Nice-- EXCEPT the flute part is in a different key than the guitar. Just transpose the flute down a few steps until is sounds right-- you'll know when you get it.
