Alright, here is my MIDI

It's a classical piece I call Hop On Pop
I don't really have a name for it...

I don't know about you, but I'm quite proud of it.  I think that the harpsichord is awkward, though.

Tell me what you think.
I fail at art.

It sounds very cool. Yeah the harpsicord is a little out i think. And at 50sec, it seems to pause with the synth... and also at 1:50. The ending is a little sudden, but i assume that i might not be finished

It's not bad.. a little rough in spots, but I like it. Your first?
Once I killed a man. His name was Mario, I think. His brother Luigi was upset at first, but adamant to continue on the adventure that they started together.

My first classical-inspired MIDI :)

Sounds more like techno than classical, but perhaps it's your choice of instruments.

The beginning is very cyclic and doesn't actually seem to go anywhere. The second part is also quite static. If it had an interesting melody the whole thing might make more sense. Also the instrumentation needs work. As for form, it needs to be revised. It appears to be in binary form, but neither section is justified within the others. Music is built from motives, and there isn't a lot of material to work with in your piece. Add more, but make sure everything is justified. Write it for a reason, not just to add more notes. Also remember to make music interesting there needs to be contrast, more than just two large sections.

I don't want to sound harsh, but calling it a classical composition let me to critique it in a classical manner. And obviously no first draft of a piece is perfect, especially when you've never written in this style before.

:) not bad!

Remco

i don`t know why, but al the musics i listen from ags is very (how do you say in english) the opposite of loud. Like the volume is set on 0,1 but it is probaly something with my comp.
There is only 1 entertainer, the Q entertainer!

Kweepa

Interesting composition!
I was impressed by how you kept the frenzy together at the start.

Remco,
It could be your SW Synth (midi basically) volume is lower than the Wave volume in the control panel. It usually is for some reason.
Still waiting for Purity of the Surf II
