First AGS character... would like some critique

This is my first AGS character. Actually I think it's one of the first things that I have ever drawn from scratch with Paint. It is the main character for the MAGS game that I am (hopefully) making - the game will be my first AGS game. So I'm a real newbie.
His clothes are supposed to look like some kind of pyjamas that he has borrowed from a hospital. His shoes are some kind of cheap slippers.

       

edit: new version. Improved shading. Background colour changed. Shading added to pocket. Feet made a bit longer.
edit: new version. Darker shading. Changed arms. Shading changed in the third view so that the light comes from the same direction in all four views. Shading added to shoes.

That's a nice character, actually. The only thing is that the edges of the shading should be a little bit darker.

Try posting it on a non-white background, that way we can see the character better

Try adjusting the color contrast. Right now the light gray and the pink skin are too close in value to the white.

may want to straiten his feet/legs up a little (he kinda looks gimp-ish) but very nice work. I cant draw characters like that and i have been here for 2 years!

I made a quick and rough paintover for the side view to maybe give you some ideas:



Basically I adjusted the colors a bit so now it doesn't look so bright. Also I corrected the pose of his arms. Then I adjusted the pose of his feet a bit.

I like your character a lot but it needs some correcting with his pose and colors.

Darker does not equate better contrast. Try using a greater range of values in the sprite.

If you really want, I'll attempt a paintover.
