Well Im taking time off of my game to make an ags rpg template, one of the features will be a random dungeon generator, for it to look consistant and to save time, I decided to take a shortcut on some of the land by drawing some textures in Ulitmate paint. The game wont look like rpg maker tileset based games but rather something like Diablo

Evil

Well, they are nice, but they wont work well unless its a 3D engine. I literaly too your image into paint and made tiles like them in 2 minutes.

Make it more detailed. Grass patches, dirt spots. Its just pretty much blurred together is what I am saying.

I dont know if thats sarcasm or not. I'll just take it as a good thing then.

I was going to suggest making them much larger.

Still maintaining repetitive edges, but making them larger.

It'll look less repetitive this way.Ã,  I never really like the look of 'tiles' when you can clearly see the looping nature.Ã,  Even the ones that seemlessly blend together, the pattern repeats.

Since you're not (I'm assuming) doing this for something on the web (thus file size isn't critical) I'd make them bigger and, as was mentioned, add in some more details.

I think you'll be happier with that in the long run!

All of this is useless if the system you're developing lays down blocks this size and that being the reason you made them this size ;)

Those pics are actually multi tile. Each tile is 32x32 seamless.
Ill try to add more detail, but what do you mean larger?

I'm pretty sure Darth means make each tile bigger.

e.g. Yours are 32x32 pixels but they could be 64x64 pixels or 128x128 or whatever size you want, which would allow for more detail in each tile.

Unless, as Darth said, your tiles need to be the size you've made them.

Which number is best for grass?

pixelcat

Not sure how it tiles, but I like the details in #3, just looks more realistic for some reason.

sergiocornaga

Use 'em all. There can be lots of different kinds of grass. I would also suggest using a square size like 30x30 for the tiles instead of rectangular.
