Hey guys. New to these boards and new to sprite making and adventure game making in general. Here's my first attempt at a sprite. Tell me how to improve it if you can. I'd also love to know some technical about making the sprite, like what size it should be.
I tried to do a walk cycle with this character by hand drawing each frame and pixelizing it. It turned out to be alot of work and I just got confused about sizes and stuff, I'm using paint shop pro (new to that also) any hints or tips would be appreciated on doing a better walk cycle. Thanks guys.

I quite like it. IMO his bottom jaw is too far in from his top jaw in the side view, but other than that it seems like a nice style you've got worked out. Welcome to the forums and the world of adventure game making.
Looks pretty great for a first sprite. I'd say his feet might be a little too large, and his raised ankle looks a little too curby, but that's a great start.
its very "wheres wally" only thing i dont like is tha hands they look more like claws than hands. Welcome to the forums
