**updated**

Now with 100% more flow.  Some lines were added, some were removed.  Fixed the reversed arm issue.  Fixed the crazy spaz-bob.  There are some flyaway pixels but I almost kinda like 'em.

Snarky

I think it looks good, but in order for the robot to walk naturally, the arms should move opposite to the legs. So when his right leg goes forward, his left arm swings forward, and when it moves back his right arm moves forward.

Ack!  You're absolutely right.  On the other hand, I do actually want the robot to be rather awkward, so the inverted arm-swing might actually work for me.

I really appreciate you pointing that out, though.  I'll be careful not to animate my other robots that way.

Theeph

Wow that's hot looking... *hexes you for making this seem easy*

:P

I like the cell shadey look, but it kinda makes the front view look a bit 2d. Especially the white torso section. Dunno if this is an issue, cause it might be in keeping with what you're going for, but it looks kinda incongrous compared to the side-view torso, which is *sweet* looking.

Anyway. That's my two penny.

Candall

Hrm.  I see your point.  I'll make a mental note to put a bit of shadow on the torso and pelvis.

The Ivy

Aww, I love the way his head wobbles side to side in the front view.  For a robot, it looks remarkably huggable.  I think that once you fix the opposite arm and leg thing, plus the little bob in the side view, it'll be ready for a game (if that's what it's for).

Dig

It's just my opinion but I think it would look better if you changed the side view by making the eyes visible (like if they were standing out from the head a little bit, not just flat lens)
With my luck it's a hand granade...

Candall

Snarky:  You're were right.  It looks much better this way.

theeph:  I don't want to spend too much time on shadowed areas for this particular game, so I found other ways to compensate.  What do you think?

The Ivy:  Do you still think it's gameworthy?  Quite a few changes have been made.

Dig:  The flat-faced look is intentional.  This robot is meant to look cheaply constructed.  Design was a balance of endearing/generic.
