Partially inspired by Blade Runner.
C&C much appreciated.
Does he have a neck, he kinda looks like he is shrugging but holding his shoulders up at this head, maybe.
He's sort of slouching in his chair with his head leaning forward.Ã, that's why he doesn't seem to have a neck. (it's a pose you can try in your chair, if you'd like)
But if that's not obvious to you, then I've failed as an artist.
:(
Fantastic!
I could totally tell he was slouching ... I get the impression he's anticipating something. Like he's expecting something to happen at any second. (Failing that ... I get the impression that he's bored.)
It also reminds me of Brad Pitt in Seven (great movie).
This style reminds me a little of a graphic novel I had when I was a kid 'Wolverine & Havok' I think it was called.
As you mention it, i do now see more of a slouch that i saw earlier this morning, and if you are failing as an artist, then what the hell am i? :P
Some modifications:
About 130 kb (http://w1.872.telia.com/~u87210460/AGS/carf%5b1%5d_mod1.gif)
(i) Changed the reflections in the window which didn t seem to correspond to the monitors (the left monitors were pretty much pure white while the reflections were darker green).
(ii) Changed his headshape. It had a midget sort of head shape, with the forehead and jaw sticking out.
(iii) Changed the nose which seemed a bit odd (I ve seen noses shaped kind of like that before but it still seemed unnatural).
(iv) Extended the eyebrow which ended a bit short. Also made a small highlight on the lower eyelid.
(v) Altered the arm. My first impression was also that he seemed very tense even though I ve seen the pose in relaxed situations before.
All in all it looks ridiculously good though. Might as well have been a photo that had gone through a couple of filters.
Bother versions are very nice, but I personally find that the face it a bit too young-looking. It may just be me, though.
Loominous: All valid edits. Thanks!
heh, that is just awsome!
I think it's perfect. But, I'm not a very good critic.
