I got some ideas for background music for a post-apocalyptic, dystopian society-arisen-from-the-ashes-that-enslaves-innocent-people type of adventure game.

Sorry for the really, really, really bad recording, I recorded it on my cell phone as financial situations have prevented me from buying Rode NT1-As for miking my piano.

It is an AMR file, so you need to right-click the link and save as (at least in Google Chrome), sorry. I couldn't find a way to convert it.

Download and Critique Me!

EDIT
The chord pattern is C-F-C-F-C-F-G-F-C , rinse, repeat.

EDIT2
Its now an MP3

Blobby 101

that's really good, If you got that recorded in high quality and added some (maybe sampled) other instrument parts into It could be great!

Wow, thanks! I'm in the process of digitizing it through Garageband.

Hmmm.  It doesn't really give me a "dystopian" vibe.  However, it might be useful for some sort of end credits sequence after all the meanies have been vanquished after a long, hard struggle and everyone is living happily ever after.

Dystopian ambience would seem to mandate either a minor key (or related mode) or perhaps a deceptively major-key theme with a dissonant accompaniment -- polytonality might work well in the latter case.

Well, the song does include Major7 prominently which adds a somewhat 'strange' element, and an F/Em chord as a bridge to the F chord... but I see what you mean.
