Title: Grant Me A Wish - MIDI
Post by: nihilyst on Sun 24/04/2005 22:26:07
Hi!

Here's my Tune Contest entry named "Grant Me A Wish" (http://www.gwebspace.de/hassu-irc/andere/GrantMeAWish(extended).mid). Since I'm no musician or anything near or far of that, I just wondered, if some of you could give me some hints of how to improve it.

Well, and I hope that I'll have some time for my game-backgrounds, too.

That was very very nice!

Though maybe not completely flawless I just had to listen to it 'till the very last note. Personally, I would leave out the shaking sound and lower the volume of some of the instruments at some places (play around with the dynamics). Also, maybe try replacing the choir with something else.

Besides that, is it allowed to post your Tune Contest entry in the Critic Lounge first?

Very emotional! Great work! :)

I have entried it in the contest already. And since I'm the only participant, it's kind of irrelevant.

Hm, leaving out the shaking sound wouldn't really be good, but maybe starting it later. Or making the volume lower.

And the choir. I have tried almost every instrument, but none doesn't really fit.
