Title: GUI Style
Post by: Ishmael on Tue 26/08/2003 13:40:49
Is this GUI style any good? I want to know what I could improve, what to change, etc.

A little info on this GUI can be found here (http://kotisivu.mtv3.fi/tk/slidingbars.htm).

I changed little colors (and ruined it!). But I think it looks great! That sliding thing is very good!

I think it's nice, but by just looking at it i don't know what any of those icons do, you should really expect for the people (if you want a user friendly game) to know exactly what every button does before they click on it..
and if you're going to keep the items on that size, maybe you should make the icon bar smaller (in height) so it doesent take to much from the actual game field.
maybe something a little more graphic or informative would be better, don't you think?

Um... the mode buttons represent theirselfs... Walk, Talk, Look, Use, Pick up, Give, and did you read this (http://kotisivu.mtv3.fi/tk/slidingbars.htm) about the sliding function? And if you want to try it out, get the template (http://kotisivu.mtv3.fi/tk/TKsGUI.zip). ;D
