Well, I havnt posted anything new here in a while. I went to a concert at the Iowa State Fair and got inspired to draw this guy. The mic stand and guitar need some help and I was wondering if anybody knew how to fix them. Same goes for the lips. And 10 points goes to anybody who can name who this is... Hint: The band he is the lead singer in starts with a G.

Eyes are messed but I think the guitar looks a little better now...
I think the guitar would look better if you just added some more detail. Check Google Image Search for the guitar he's holding (looks like a Fender Jaguar, judging by the shape) and use that for reference. The mic stand looks fine to me. You might want to redraw the cord so it winds around the stand in a more rounded spiral shape instead of going in a straight line like it is now. The shirt and arm look a bit odd on the right side, but it's hard to tell since you haven't shaded it yet.

The pic is off to a great start! I wouldn't outline the skin parts with black ... but that's just me :)

but that will come without a doubt.

Heh, I gotta agree with net on the guitar...
If its the goo-goo dolls then I'm sure it was a good show, I saw them a couple years ago with bush and no doubt and I greatly preferred their performance to the others....
Anyway man, really impressive stuff. Has somebody been tutoring you or something, cause you've really improved...
Yea its Johnny Reznik. The show was great, only bad part was that Lisa-Marie Presley opened. :P I'm glad you like it and I'll try to work on coloring and fixing the guitar today to get it over with. And no Squinky, no tutoring. I guess it is a matter of looking at the same styles before I start...

I don't want to be nitpicky.. but..
the guitar neck still doesn't look properly attached, it looks like the neck is 2 cm's thick.
Hmm couldn't find a good example picture...
the guitar also needs some frets (:P) and a plastic on the body for the nailscratching :)
but that's just for the tiny details :)
Yea, I havent added anything else because I wanted to make shure it looked ok before final details. I see know about the neck too... :)

That looks great.. I think the arms and hands could use some contrast (darker shades on the outside and such), and the guitar (and the microphine/stand) could use some highlights around the edges to give it a nice shiny look. Those are the only suggestions I can think of at the moment.
These look great! I can't really find anything wrong, exept its bothering me. Please add strings and frets :)
And when you add the details he could use a pick.
