character sprite opinions

Hi all,  designing a game similar to MI 1 art-wise

In this character i've used Guybrush from MI 1 as a template of sorts.
He's a cowboy, think of Roy Obannon in Shanghai Noon/Knights.

I think its almost there, but need a bit of work.  Opinions?

Almost a perfect match for Jesse Owens in Shanghai Noon. I find this hilarious. Nice work.

I like it, but maybe raise the collar on the coat a little. I would love to see a draw animation...
