Help on shadows/colouring

I made this, the draw isn't correct and then I coloured
I wanted it to look more like this:

but I don't know how to do these shadows and colouring

Well, to start you're going to have to retrace the lines in whatever program you are using, rather then using the sketch. Then lay your color under those lines. However that image has a very bright light source, and yours has many.  Make sure all of the high lights and all of the shadows are in the same direction if that makes sence.
