Hi.

I've been doing some digital art the last week, and this is the result. It will be a gift for my cousin. (We have a joke about having cheese in your pocket (meaning being rich) and also climbing the mountain of cheese (meaning becoming increasingly rich). Well anyway, I decided to draw him the mountain of cheese for his birthday. Here it is.

It is too big to put full size in the forums, so instead I'll give you a link to the full HI-RES picture.

What do you think?

I think the image in the link is the same than the one here. If you could perhaps link again, we could see the details better?
uh... nevermind, I feel stupid now

Some of the holes puzzle me. Is the lght coming fro above or is the hole a different way, I can't really tell. That and I'd let some of the topmost cheese overlap the ones under just to remove the impression, that they're behind the rest o the cheese floating on air, because that's what I get from it. Other than that, I like it.

The displayed image, though shrinked using tags, it's not shrinked physically, which makes this thread quite slow to load.
Moreover, it depends on individual browser's settings on how the shrinked image is displayed. For example, in my browser the shrinked image is unfiltered, which makes it not very pleasant to look at (especially in the broken lines).
I'll suggest linking to the full-sized image (as it is now) but provide an already shrinked image file for loading time and quality's sake, like this:

(Just use it as-if if you like. I even saved it as a JPEG to save a bit more on file size but sacrified some quality. This is okay as long as it's just for display and not for serious editing.)

I'm not good at background sort of things, but I think the dark lines on the ground stick out too much (compared to the lighter colour lines in the other parts of the pic.). For example, IMO the dark line behind the billboard looks like a piece of string on the ground instead of a contour line. I'd suggest lighten these lines a bit (it may not be that much of importance if the image is shrinked or printed though).

Gray cheese?
Not very appetizing, is it? ;)
I also think these line holes on the bright yellow cheese at the front and two similar ones on the left look a bit weird. I never saw those on cheese.
It's interesting that you have only holey cheese.
There are so many kinds...

But on the whole, I like it very much. It is bright, looks very fun, and has some little details. Neat!

Yeah, it's a very cool image. I blew it up in a window to about half it's res and it looked great. But at full view, it's really pixely. It would look much better if you used antialiased lines. Still perfectly fine for a printed card or something, but as a digital image, it feels like it's lacking.
