Here's a little diddy Evil and I cranked out last night at 3:30 in the AM.

All evil did was play the guitar, I mixed, sang, and whistled my way to the end.

Let me know what you think!

Great song and recording. Sounds great to my ears! It sounds like Jack Johnsson. I really like the whistle! I'm not that good at giving critics at songs, but I've heard alot of songs by alot of "amateurs", and this one is just adorably awesome, if you have more in this style, make a cd, and I'll buy it. I'd give like $7 for the mp3's only ;)

Wonderful. That sounded really great. I loved how you added what sounded like some echo to the whistle. Bring us more.

A really nice, acoustic, country-ish rendition of the song, I'd say. One of my favorite The Cure tracks, and you managed to cover it without either staying too close to the original or butchering it. Your voice is good, and it definitely fits the overall mood of the song. Personally, I prefer Robert Smiths slightly whinier version, but that's just me. ;) Production-wise, I'd perhaps try and get a bit warmer sound to the guitar, a bit more bass. Maybe you could try and use a nylon-stringed guitar instead of a steel-stringed one? If you're into Nick Drake or José Gonzalez you'll know what I mean. :) On the whole, it's great, though.
Now I want to hear you cover "One Hundred Years"... Heh.
