Quite good, I'd say. Keep developing them, I'd like to see what they will look like finished and colored.

Keep on the good work!
If you're familiar with paint software (like Photoshop), you might want to start coloring a background layer, and keep your drawing as the "front" layer, to see what you're doing and keep it simple.

They look great icey! Try colouring them with just a few colours, keep it simple. Honestly, you've done a great job with a good understanding of composition, i really like the second and third image.

Walkable area is too steep (vertically)

You'd have to scale character to hell and back to walk there and it wouldn't look very good.
Atleast make sure that at lowest edge of screen, character could be 100% scale and scale only downwards while walking up. Otherwise it'd look messy.

3 first images look okay, not so sure about others. First, there's too much of walkable ground in sight. Second, walkway on longest image -- area on left side looks really weird. I don't think anyone would be really able to see walkway after it starts descending after rise. I hope you understand what part I mean. It almost looks like walkway is not facing sky, but like a fly paper taped onto cliff facing my monitor. Unless it's a spider-man game, I doubt anyone could walk on this.

As for final word, It's not bad, just there's alot to improve yet. Most of all, fix perspective to atleast believable and use less curved cracks in walls, better make them longer and more rigid feeling (straight) -- it's a rock, not glass, right?

You'll have to be way more specific than that, not sure what you're talking about. Also this sounds like a question more suited for the beginner's questions part of the forum. Try to ask your technical question over there and just stick to these drawings you've made in here.

Why do all these walkways look like shlongs?

All of them are from a wierd semi-overhead viewpoint which is not the best and the 6th background is inconsistent perspective wise. Otherwise, they look pretty neat.

I have no idea. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sigmund_Freud) ;)

These remind me my own drawings I did when I was much younger :)

I think the main problem is wrong perspective. Take 2 last ones, for example. They look like these pathways have a >30 degree slope from one side to another.

I'm not entirely sure what they are to be honest. My first thought was that they were a bunch of vaginas...

Minus one. It's pretty obvious that they are paths in mountains/cliffs.

I think they're quite good already. They need colours though.

One thing that may be a problem is their dimensions. It depends on whether you'd going to use them at exactly these resolutions in your game. For example, in the first few sketches they're not wide enough for the typical 320 horizontal resolution, unless you're going to fill in the emptiness when you colour and touch up them, or have part of the screen covered by a vertical GUI or something. Also, in the second last panoramic sketch, say, the height is a bit too tall for a typical 240 vertical resolution. Slight scrolling in-game may make the screen appear bopping up and down (unless that is an intended effect, or you'll trim down the background at the end). (I see the other "larger" backgrounds okay as I expect that you might just trim them off the empty space at the edges to match the screen resolution at the end.)
