how can this dodo be improved

I think a better way then saying "You should try it yourself" would be that we don't know what your style is. Your style for the rest of your art could be way different from anything we provide to you. So by doing one yourself, we can help you get to your ideal coloring goal.

  ta very muchly to all of you I have tryed colouring numerous sprites and have never been satisfied with the results, which is why I probably have truck loads of sprites
tucked away that are screaming out to be coloured. So, just for you kind souls, I shall set about colouring this most rotund of birds. see you in a mo!

ok here he is in all his feathery glory. Its the only sprite I have been happy with....ever.
But there is always room for improvement. Any comments or small edits to the sprite would be much apprechiated tank you.

thankyou ikari.well, in my favorite comedy show entitled bottom, starring adrian edmonsan and rik mayal, ade plays a character called edward elizibath hitler.I did'nt know what to call myself and that was the first name to spring to mind If you think some people will be offended by it, I could change it.

It just reminds me of the episode of Family Guy where Peter tells the tale of his ancestor...(don't remember the name)...Adolf Hitler's brother.

On topic however...I quite like your rendition (as well as the others), though it is a bit hard to see where this dodo is supposed to be looking. In fact, if you look at it one way, it looks as though his eyes are entirely closed. But still, nice work!

I like your colouring job very much ^_^
However, for such a cute and happy-looking character, I found the colours a little drab (it may just be my own preference for saturated colours, though).

I did a quick switching-around of colours to give you an idea of what I mean:

okay me old skips, I have given him some much needed pupils and saturated the hell out of him(perhaps too saturated now) So........ any comments? too bright? too few colours? could do with a hat?

wondered what he would look like in a different colour, I also eliminated one of the colours because I thought he looked muddled.Are they better or worseÃ,  than my first attempt and which out of these two
