Hi there!

I finally did my character and background :-D
But I don't really know what mistakes I did or what should be better so I would like some advice ;-D

This character took me like 1 week to do, but I finally did it (laugh)(it jiggles a bit because the first frame is when he is just standing, I will post only the walking animation later)and I didn't did the walking animation for up and down because that will take me like another 2 weeks or something and I think its not needed for playable character

And the background took me like 2 hours or something like that. (i was lazy to make a door there, but if i will use this background later in a serious game i will make a door in the room) and I also know that the window looks kinda weird but I can edit it later

so what do you think? ;-D

I do think a player character should have an up and down walk-cycle but it's probably a good idea to finalize his design first anyway.  I think he's distinctive and interesting but I'm not sure if my read on him is what you are trying to convey.  To me his posture and face suggest an older person, maybe a grizzled old farmer.  Does this bedroom belong to him?  They don't seem to go together.

The bedroom has some perspective issues that are particularly apparent in the centre of the room where the desk and bed overlap.  The desk and computer look a little large with respect to the bed also. Otherwise I think it's a good first effort.

I know that there is a perspective issue, but I don't know how to fix it :-\
And the bedroom wasn't made to belong to him I just wanted to do a bedroom with a desk so I can then make a character that will be the right size, but I will try to edit it so it fits more for the character

And here is the character animation without the standing frame (and edited a bit)

It looks like you going for an angle with a single vanishing point which is the simplest type of perspective drawing so a good place to begin.  Try searching online for "1 point perspective drawing tutorial" and you should be able to find something that teaches the basics.

Suggestions for the character:
- make the leg go forwards then also backwards, with the medium position being vertical (at the moment they only go forward)
- make the body vertical (at the moment he's bending forwards)
- when the head goes down one pixel, the whole torso and his should also go one pixel.
- make the arms go back and forth.
