Title: Looking for Crits on a Base Character Sprite.

Heres my attempt at a character for a game (It has been a while since I've Done this) I don't really dig his pants, and was wondering if anybody had any idea. I'd like to keep it pinstriped, but I don't know how to make it better. His Boots aren't even touched because I suck at feet for some reason. Any tips on that would rock too....

I am open to any tips to make this guy look better, any help at all would rock.

Totally diggin' this guy. Lots of character and style. He looks a lot different from you typical characters.

He is a cute one. :)

Mybe just move the neck a pixel to the left. Not the head, just the neck... :)

Hi Squinky, have a look at this one. I've tried to comply with your style.

- The sprite was pretty good IMO, but I think proportions were a bit off. His torso and arms should be a tiny bit shorter, otherwise he looks lanky.
- I've cut down his head by one pixel, and pushed it one pixel to the right.
- His legs looked pretty stiff, so I made his loosen up a bit. I've used evil's edit for the feet.

I hope this helps!

Wow guys, thanks for the tips! I did have some major proportion issues and you guys got it nailed on the head. Thanks again. (I will be sure to credit you guys for help on the sprite if I actaully finish this game).

I dig the guy. :D
I was just thinking maybe you could give him a groin.. I mean so his legs don't just end like that between his legs? Or would that be hard to do?

Yeah Squinky. Why don't you make his crotch a little bigger?

Haddas...I have a rep to keep up I guess, heh. Har Har...

But seriously, I had thought the pin-stripes on his pants kinda gave the illusion of groinage....I would be afraid to overdue it and give him a Squinky size love-package though...

I was just thinking here, if that's the front wiev, does he ever look straight ahead... I'm a bit distracted about the way his head is turned away as if he didn't wish to look at the wiever. Otherwise, a great sprite
