It's an okay pic, but the blood looks awfully bright. You should make it darker so that it looks more like it's on the ground.
The grass looks a bit... Too simple, try adding more detail and shades to it.
The tree doesn't fit in with the pic at all. You should try remaking it.
The sky looks weird too. The clouds are very thick and too round.

It's a decent attempt, considering you used such a crappy program. ;)

Some things to change:

Tree: Leans way too much. The brances should stretch farther over the foliage. Roots are too short.

Sky: The hill has a red outline where the sun is. Clouds need more work. The sky is too bright and shouldn't be a solid colour.

Path: needs more detail and shading.

Blood: (assuming its blood) Too bright.

I know it seems alot. But it dosn't look as bad as I may make it seem.

Very respectable coming from MSPaint (Though I've seen masterpieces come from it aswell.) The outlines of the tent are rather jagged and the cloud seems to enroach a bit on the ground. The horizon lines just needs some defininiton.. I'd say just redo the cloud and maybe add one or two more behind the tree and to the right of the sun.

Good work.

okay I fixed the outlines, added more clouds and made a glow behind the hill( you might not notice it at first)

Make the grass cast an outline on the red ground.....
subtle, but it's "one of those things" :)

okay but I dont think that it is important.

Pod's right about it being 'one of those things' and it had improved the bg.

Two things that stick out to me as not quite right are the lightest parts of the right side of the tent and the grass around the roots of the tree.

A quick p/o:

Also the blood is still too bright imho but it's tricky to get right because making it darker only blends it in with the dirt.

It's not important in the slightest, but it's the kind of thing a professional does. Lots of subtle little things that come together to make it seem extremly detailed, etc.

Also, some parts of the hill would be in shadow, due to the sun's position. I can't pait over now as I have to go out in 15 mins :D

LGM

I'd say it looks pretty damn good so far.
