Title: MAGS Character Animation
Post by: Tiki on Mon 15/11/2004 01:08:06
Well, I figured it's time I got off my lazy bum and made me a game!  Or, rather, made you guys a game.  Cutting to the chase, help me a bit with this animation...

Hmm...I just think the proportions are TOO out there!  But with these proportions, making the shoulders go forward and backward must have a more exaggerated effect I think, because you hzve just moved a few pixels around but his chest is so wide that I feel it would change a lot more.

I don't see a problem with the proportions, but if you look you'll notice his torso isn't moving up and down at all.

Thanks for the advice guys!  I tried to fix what you had mentioned, and I also caught a few other little mistakes.

- Made chest less static
-  lightened his eyes a bit
-  kept shoe coloring more consistent
-  completely redid head bounce
-  fixed hand in one frame

er ... think that's it

Looks really great, Tiki.

**Each side is moving together rather than oppositely.
Man, that made no sense.
The right arm and right leg are moving together and vice-versa.
Should be right leg back, right arm front...
